Kitsune Fujin - This Japanese title means, "Fox-Woman", a mythical fox
spirit from Japan, sometimes believed to be the god Inari, who would
disguise their fox-selves and appear to humans as beautiful women in order
to fool and trick the humans.
Naga Kanya - Bringers of rain and fertility, guardians of water, and
protectors of the riches and secrets of the deep, Naga Kanyas are
demi-goddesses, often associated with Vishnu as companions.
Layang Dewi - The name means "Flying Goddess" in Indonesian. Sculptors
would
carve goddesses out of wood to decorate and protect temples. Over the
years
these wooden flying goddesses were taken into the home for protection and
to
ward off evil spirits.
